About Taylor
Therapist at B3 Practice & Supports
Taylor Bromley
Provisional Counselling Therapist (CCTPEI), CCC (CCPA)
Taylor is a B3 therapist offering in-person and virtual services in Prince Edward Island.
She has been working at a non-profit organization in Moncton, New Brunswick, where she provided counselling services to youth and young adults. During this time, she grew to understand and appreciate the importance of client-focused, collaborative care. Working with individuals in this age range highlighted the importance of youth being met with warmth and support during such formative years.
She obtained a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. Her educational background forms the foundation of her approach, motivating her to apply evidence-based therapeutic methodologies as she works with clients.
Taylor is passionate about forming genuine connections with clients, practicing from a trauma-informed, non-judgmental perspective.
She takes a strengths-based approach to navigating life transitions, ADHD, depression, emotional regulation and anxiety. Taylor is committed to pursuing continuing education to ensure that clients receive effective care. At present she draws on CBT, ACT, DBT, and Solution-Focused approaches to tailor treatment to clients’ unique circumstances.
Having lived in Alberta, New Brunswick, and now Prince Edward Island, Taylor has come to appreciate the many ways culture, community, and life experiences shape our stories. This perspective helps her approach clients with openness, respect, and cultural humility.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time outdoors with her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Margo.
